7/10 - swoo
family/neighborhood comedy/drama tinged with nostalgic look at pop culture of 1988/1989, still worth watching if you don't get all the South Korean culture references, the Netflix version blurs out all visuals of most books/movie/tv shows or performers because Netflix didn't want to pay licensing fees but leaves music and video game references intact. Also some subtitle translations are not great, for instance when they serve each other water that is brown at home, it's actually barley tea, not polluted tap water! Each episode is so long this one season is like four seasons of a USA show.
