9/10 - swoo
This is best freaky Friday gender swap historical kdrama ever with wacky, bawdy comedy and usual sageuk political intrigue, mixed with some good fighting scenes and cooking scenes. I was dubious of the premise but the lead actress acting like the man was inside her head won me over in first episode. The political intrigue is easier to understand because a lot of voice over for character thoughts is used, on downside it does use the tiresome kdrama tropes of childhood connection/trauma and no talking causing big issues, and a lot of people get killed for what is called a comedy because of the political intrigues. Great characters and mostly fun ride until the end, with an OK finale that does manage to wrap up most of the stories.
